Amy Louise Jackson is an English film actress and model who rose to fame after winning the beauty pageant, won Miss Teen World 2009 in Houston, Texas. Amy has born and brought up at Knowsley, Liverpool.

She plays an important role of female lead in debut her film in Tamil film, Madrasapattinam, a period drama set in 1945.

Jackson is from the Isle of Man and is the daughter of BBC Radio Merseyside presenter, Alan Jackson. After winning the Miss Teen Liverpool and Miss Teen Great Britain pageants, and hard work, she was crowned Miss Teen World 2008 when she was seventeen years old.

Jackson won 18 various prizes, majot of them are : a modeling contract in the US, a wardrobe of clothes, cosmetics, shoes and a £10,000 scholarship. Since the competition in August 2008, Jackson has returned home to England and signed a second modeling contract with British agency Boss Model Management.

She has long term plans to act here in India and has no problems to act in Tamil, Telugu or Hindi Films.

Her First Film Madrasapattinam opposite Arya has been released yesterday and getting the goog response. Madrasapattinam is a love story of the time before independence and has been depicted by the film makers with a different view.

Amy Jackson is looking perfect in the role of a British lady spreads and involve audiences with her innocent charm through the film.
