Vedam Movie Review, Rating and Audience Response
by Ashutosh Mehra
Allu Arjun’s latest movie, Vedam, would be hitting the theaters today around the country. The Movie has very different concept where Allu played a cable worker and always wearing a cable around his shoulder which gives a strange kind of looks to him.
Vedam is a mixture of five different stories and each story belongs to five main characters. Famous Bollywood actor, Manoj Bajpai is doing an important role but it has not been revealed. An old man is doing the fifth character who will steal the show.
It is directed by Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi alias Krish, who also directed hit movies like Gamyam. Produced by Yarlagadda Shobhu and Devineni Prasad for Arka Entertainment. M M Keeravani composed the music of the movie and lyrics were penned by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, Sahiti, ES Murthy and Keeravani.
Allu Arjun plays “Cable Raja,” who works as a cable operator. Manoj Manchu plays Vija Chakravarthy, who is an upcoming actor. Anushka Shetty donned the role of “Saroja” a prostitute.
Somewhere, I feel that Vedam was promoted as much as it should have been, may be producers are trying to do cost cutting and playing on the popularity of Allu Arjun. Let's wait for the Audience response as the first show on first day would run in the theaters in couple of hours from now.
