Harley Davidson India Open its First Outlet in Hyderabad

Every biker dream bike manufacturer Harley Davidson on friday has inaguarted its first dealership outlet in India in Hyderabad. If cources are to believed, then companies have plans to open its various braches where it has already identified dealers in Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh and Bangalore.
Telugu Film star N T Ramarao inaugurated Banjara Harley-Davidson in Hyderabad and on the ceremony Managing Director, Anoop Prakash, Harley-Davidson said
that "We will launch our bikes in other cities before the end of this year".
He said, 'Last year as many as 700 heavy bikes of all brands, excluding Harley-Davidson were sold in the country'. He also added without revealing any figures that, they made enough investments in the country to last for the next 20 years. The company has launched 12 variants of the bikes in 883 cc to 1800 cc range in the Indian market.
All the bikes are made in the USA and shipped to India. The company started bookings for the bikes since April this year and there is no waiting period. The bikes would cost anything between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 35 lakh.
Anoop Prakash also answered the biggest question in the mind of almost everybody that would these bikes be able to cope up with the Indian Roads to which he replied that the bike is perfectly suitable for Indian roads due to its weight and ruggedness.
