Japanese camera major Fujifilm has launched a camera in India that allows up to 30 times optical zoom.

The HS10 is a pro- am camera, meaning you can get as close to owning a professional DSLR camera without heaving the accompanying bulk. The specifications are superlative, and the cost— Rs 28,000 on retail— sounds quite modest for a camera with so many features and a lens that gives up 720 mm zoom.

An interesting feature is the Motion Remover Mode, which takes away the moving subjects from the shot. For instance, you could shoot up to five frames in this mode in quick succession and then combine all of them to get one compact picture even while you remove the moving objects in the five exposures. And yes, it also shoots HD movies.
