AIEEE Online Counselling Admission Procedure Begins on www.ccb.nic.in

The online counselling for All India Engineering Entrance Examination ( AIEEE- 2010) successfull candidates begin today where they can choose from different locations and streams.

30 National Institute of Technology (NITs), 5 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), 16 other Central and state funded institutions and other deemed universities are the part of the process and providing enough choices to the candidates.

Students can participate in the online counselling on the official site of Central Counseling Board (CCB) on http://ccb.nic.in/ccb2010/aieeecouns10/rlogin.aspx.

Please note IP address of every visitor would be logged for security purposes.

These are some of the instructions provided by Central Counselling Board on its official site for Online Counselling.

1. Eligible candidates can exercise their choices of institutes and branches through Internet from any location.
2. The candidates can change, re-order, delete and add new choices as many times as required before locking their choices.
3. Confidentiality of Password is solely the responsibility of the candidate and all care must be taken to protect its security.
4. The Indicative Seat Allotment will be done during June 8 - 23, 2010 and will be put up on the web at frequent intervals to make the candidate aware of the possibility of getting a seat at his/her rank.
5. After filling the choices in the order of preference, the candidate must LOCK his/her choices on or before June 23, 2010 by 05:00 PM, failing which system will automatically lock the last saved choices.
6. Candidates must take the printout of the final locked choices for submission during reporting for admission.
7. For security reasons, after finishing your work, kindly click the LOGOUT button and close all the windows related to your session.
8. You are required to remember your User-id & Password for all future logins.
9. You are advised to keep changing the Password at frequent intervals.

I got 244105 in Overall ranking and 159656 in Category ranking, and State overall rank is 6924 and State category rank is 5967. can i get a seat in NIT, Durgapur?
