New York Yankees Boss George Steinbrenner dead after heart attack



George Steinbrenner, 80 years old, who is also called as the boss of New York Yankees died Tuesday morning in Tampa after suffering a massive heart attack.

Steinbrenner bought the New York Yankees on 1973 and it is valued as $1.6 billion estimated by the Forbes magazine, which means he knew how to turn the things is gold and he was the visionary.

Former Yankees manager Joe Torre said, "You didn't work with him, you worked for him,"

"George was certainly 'The Boss,' and you certainly understood that and what that took in. You had to give answers and give a full accounting of yourself", he added.

Steinbrenner family released the news on Tuesday Morning with the statement, "It is with profound sadness that the family of George M. Steinbrenner III announces his passing,". "He was an incredible and charitable man. First and foremost he was devoted to his entire family - his beloved wife, Joan; his sisters, Susan Norpell and Judy Kamm, his children, Hank, Jennifer, Jessica and Hal; and all his grandchildren. He was a visionary and a giant in the world of sports. He took a great but struggling franchise and turned it into a champion again."
