Doesn't it surprise you a bit, it does hit me hard that our desi paparazzi whmo we were praising failed to get even the glimpse of Dhoni Wedding. Even the high profile marriage of Abhi-Aish was covered somehow but this seems to be a top secret affair of Indian Cricket Captain.

The two were married in a highly private ceremony at a resort near Dehradun late on Sunday. The surprise wedding followed a sudden engagement on Saturday night.

Sakshi, a 21- year- old hotel management graduate, and Dhoni have known each other since their school days. Their fathers worked together in Ranchi and both the families are very close.

The only high- profile guests were ICC chief Sharad Pawar, BCCI President Shashank Manohar, former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, actor John Abraham, Bollywood director Farah Khan and cricketers R. P. Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra and Suresh Raina. The wedding venue, Vishranti Resort and Spa, is owned by Raje.

Over 100 policemen were posted at the gates to ensure there was no trespasser. Only those cars were allowed entry whose numbers had already been given to the police by the cricketer’s family.

This Wedding was kept so private even close relatives were not told about the wedding in advance. Dhoni’s uncle Ghanpath Dhoni had no idea his nephew was getting married. The cricketer’s parents simply informed him, “ Mahendra wants to see you in Dehradun.

Now, the wedding part is done, as per the close relatives Dhoni will host a reception party in Mumbai on July 7.

Hopefully, we get to see some pictures of bride and groom before the reception.
