Amitabh Bachchan had vanished from tinsel town’s radar after delivering two straight flops — Rann and Teen Patti. But now, he is back with a bang.

He has kicked off rehearsals for the latest season of Kaun Banega Crorepati . “ It started and what a magical trip that was ‘ in nostalgium’ — if there can be such a word. The same faces, the music, the graphics on the computer, changes in the presentations, changes in the construct, ideas enhanced, smiling faces, laughter, joy — DAMN ! KBC is fun. I am happy to be back!!” he writes.

The actor is also set to begin shooting a new lot of films after the brief hiatus. He will start with Raj Kumar Santoshi’s next, followed by another film called Buddah with Ram Gopal Varma and a third project, Puri Jagannath.

“ Time flies past. Time to get into our seats, fasten the belts and prepare to take off,” Amitabh writes on his blog.
