Solar Eclipse (Surya Grahan) to be witnessed on 11 July



Another eclipse to be witnessed on Sunday, 11th July 2010 in some parts of the world. According to NASA, eclipse of the Sun is visible from within a narrow corridor that traverses Earth's southern Hemisphere including southern Pacific Ocean, Argentina and Chile in South America

This Solar Eclipse would not be seen in many parts of the word which includes India, United States, Europe, Gulf, etc.

The solar eclipse will take place from 11:45 PM on July 11, 2010 to 02:20 AM on July 12, 2010 IST (18:15 UT to 20:52 UT)

NASA has designed a dedicated website to cover all the solar and lunar eclipse which occur during the year which can be checked on http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov.

After this eclipse, a total Lunar Eclipse to be witnessed on December 21 of this year.

i live in Chile and i live in Santiago and I've only heard that u can see it in Easter island but i don't know about Santiago can u tell me

Darn, I live in the United States. But there's a lunar eclipse coming up on December 20-21, and I can't wait to see it!
