Frieda Pinto’s hot look in Woody Allen’s "You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger" has already made waves. And now, the first trailer of her new film Miral will certainly hit the headlines as well. The movie has some steamy kissing scenes involving Freida.

The Slumdog Millionaire star may have played the role of a simple girl Latika in Danny Boyle’s Oscar - winning film, but the actress seems to be going all out with her sultry image now.

For those who came in late, Freida reportedly will be doing some sex scenes in the drama Immortals , which is based on the Greek mythology and directed by Tarsem Singh. A few days ago, Tarsem had stated in a video blog: “ It’s the first time we have Freida Pinto and guess what, it’s a sex scene.” Immortals — a combination of fantasy, action and drama — will also star Mickey Rourke and Henry Cavill.

Coming back to the new trailer of Julian Schnabel’s Miral , also starring Hollywood veteran Willem Dafoe, Freida’s role seems to be a tough one. The French director’s movie is about a group of orphans in Jerusalem, Palestine.

Miral , played by Freida, is sent to the orphanage at the age of seven after her mother’s death.

Playing a student, she grows up at the institute and only at the age of 17 leaves the place to face the harsh reality of the outside world, beyond the protecting walls of the orphanage. The trailer focuses entirely on Freida with her character shown in the harsh terrain as she is treated badly by the people around her.

The film also stars Hiam Abbass, Vanessa Redgrave, Alexander Siddig and Makram Khoury.

Miral is an adaptation of the Italo - Palestinian Rula Jebreal’s book about a real - life Palestinian woman, Hind Husseini, who started the Dar Al - Tifl orphanage camp in Jerusalem in the wake of the 1948 partition of Palestine and the Israeli occupation.
