Airtel Bharti's CEO Sanjay Kapur has today made an announcement that the largest mobile operator on the basis of subscribers would launch the most talked about gadget during September-October this year.

The iPhone 4 at 9.3 mm is 24% thinner than the previous iPhone 3GS and is available in black and white versions. As of now, Airtel offers the 3GS handset at a price of Rs 35,500 for the 16 GB model and Rs 41,500 for the 32GB model, however price of iPhone 4 has not been disclosed yet. At the moment Airtel is in negotiation with US - based Apple Inc. to bring the phone to India and price would be disclosed once the deal is sealed.
