Sherlyn Chopra banned by Twitter after NGO complaint

Sherlyn Chopra has earned the dubious distinction of being the first Indian celebrity to be banned by Twitter from uploading her photographs.

An NGO had complained against Sherlyn after she posted her nude picture on the micro- blogging site. Twitter has now placed a ban on the actress saying her provocative pictures may lead to a controversy.

She tweets: “ Some NGO has sent a complaint mail to Twitter against me. Since when have I become a social issue???” A few days ago, Sherlyn had raised eyebrows by posting her nude picture on Twitter. But she later deleted the photograph.

Some other hot pictures of the actress were deleted by Twitter recently. She had tweeted then:

“ This is strange! Can Twitter kindly let me know where my pics are? Is there a censor board on Twitter???” “ Where has my pic disappeared!!?” It then came to light that Twitter had not only deleted her images but also banned her from posting photographs.

Sherlyn had tweeted saying, “ Twitter has banned me from uploading pics... My Team is tryin 2 get in touch with Twitter to sort out the matter.” She has reportedly also suggested that she will quit the social networking site if the problem persists.
