Students are tensed and anxiously waiting for the results as there have been some rumors in the past couple of days that PSEB 10th Class results have been declared however students couldn't find the results anywhere of the official website of PSEB.

In the mid of all this, Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Chairman Dr. Dalbir Singh Dhillon talked to the media and provided the update, "PSEB Matric Result 2010 is ready, but the results are not yet declared because they are under scrutiny. We are doing this to avoid the type of errors that have occurred during Punjab Board 12th Results".

Dr. Dhillon also said that the Punjab Board 10th Results are prepared by two private firms which operate from Delhi. The results compiled by them are now manually being scrutinized by board officials to detect any unanticipated errors that might have crept in.

The 12th class Results were declared by PSEB without manual checks and this has put the Punjab Board in a fix as the result of a topper from Moga was found wrong. This has led Punjab Board to be over-cautious about Punjab Board Matric Results 2010 and they are still following wait and release policy.

Releasing a statement like this indicates that they are on their toes to release the results and do not want to delay it further, which means that students shall be ready and expect the results to be declared sometime this week.
