After spending half of her alone, Manisha Koirala tied the knot with sucessful Nepali Businessman Samrat Dahal today. Samrat Dahal is a businessman in leather industry and hails from Nepal only.

This news was revealed by Nepali film director Dipendra Khanal with whom the actress is working on a Nepali movie. When media questioned Manisha on this this, she said "“Yes, our families know one another for some years now. So there was a comfort level between me and Samrat for a very long time. Gradually the bonding grew from friendship to love. And when Samrat asked me to marry him, I agreed,".

Manisha Koirala father Prakash Koirala. is also happy with the desicion, he said, “He is well-educated and comes from a family with an excellent background. I like him and I respect her decision,”

Marriage Ceremony took place place here today. Suman Ranganathan; Manisha's co-star in her debut film Saudagar, Vivek Mushram; and Govinda's wife Sunita were present at the marriage ceremony. Swayambar and Mehendi functions also took place on 17th and 18th June respectively.
